Wondering what to do tonight? In or Out is the daily answer to that question from Gazette music contributor Erik Leijon and writer/editor Denise Duguay.

Go out: Start Jazz Fest a few months early with Montreal favourite Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals at Metropolis. The group’s first album in nine years, Call It What It Is, just came out last Friday, so the set shall presumably be fresh. Harper has been plenty busy in recent years, though, just with other collaborators. Keep in mind, though, that Harper once told Rolling Stone that “all roads led back to the Innocent Criminals.” With Christopher Paul Stelling at 8 p.m. at Metropolis, 59 St-Catherine St. E. Tickets $74.20. EL

Stay in for: Game of Silence (Global, NBC, 10 p.m.) A terrible thing happens to four 13-year-olds. And then another terrible thing. They promise never to speak about one of them ever again. But you know what they say about the truth? It will eventually show up, in this case, swaggering into a swanky law office like the big complicated mess that it is. The series premières Tuesday before moving to its regular Thursday night slot. DD
